Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the good work of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Regimental Trust in preserving and showcasing the long military history of the regiment; notes that its museum, which is located in Stirling Castle, continues to make a valuable cultural contribution to the wider Stirling area; congratulates the Trust on being awarded £98,600 in support by Recovery and Resilience Fund, which is operated through Museums Galleries Scotland, to help secure the museum’s future, and welcomes the exciting plans for the refurbishment of the facility, which will ensure that the proud legacy of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders will live on for visitors to enjoy for many years to come.
