Carers Link East Dunbartonshire
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the generous grant of £8,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to Carers Link East Dunbartonshire, which will help provide young carers with additional tailored support, including online support services, wellbeing packages with arts and craft supplies, payment of subscriptions, mobile phone credit, wi-fi dongles, tablets and outdoor equipment; recognises the impact that these services will have on the wellbeing of young carers; understands that studies have found that young carers in Scotland are more likely to experience mental health problems than their peers, and commends the continuous efforts of the National Lottery Community Fund to support groups during these challenging times.
