Rutherford Ward at Gartnavel Royal Hospital
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the praise for staff on the Rutherford Ward of Gartnavel Royal Hospital in Glasgow by patients; recognises that Rutherford is an acute admissions ward and is described by patients, relatives and GPs as a centre of excellence for mental health treatment; understands that patients regard all levels of staff as dedicated and professional in their approach to ensuring that they are treated with respect and dignity at a very difficult time in their lives; believes that the aim of treatments and their delivery on the Rutherford Ward is to promote as quick and full a recovery from a range of mental health conditions as possible, and sends its thanks to everyone involved.
