University of Stirling Wins Equality Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the University of Stirling on its Institute of Aquaculture and Faculty of Social Sciences being awarded Athena SWAN bronze awards in recognition of their commitment to equality; notes that these are in addition to the three previous such awards presented to the university; recognises that the Athena SWAN initiative was developed by the Equality Challenge Unit to highlight 10 key principles that promote good practice in gender equality across working environments and tackling inequalities; applauds the university's commitment to diversity and inclusion in its working practices, and congratulates everyone involved on their success.
