Dr Keith Nicholson from Mey, Security Specialist of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dr Keith Nicholson, who is from Mey, on being named Security Specialist of the Year at the 2020 UK Computing Digital Leaders Awards ceremony; understands that Keith is the founder of Cyber Security Scotland, and notes that the award was in recognition of his work in developing a new security standard framework that has now been adopted by the Scottish Government as a standard in cyber security, which all public bodies are being encouraged to follow.
