Retirement of Professor Crichton Lang

That the Parliament sends its best wishes and thanks to Professor Crichton Lang on his announcement that, after 14 years at the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI), he has announced that he will retire as Principal and Vice Chancellor in December 2020; acknowledges the key role that Crichton played in UHI achieving university status in 2011, his chairing of its programme board and his leadership throughout the COVID-19 pandemic; commends him on his excellent work over many years, and wishes Crichton and his family all the very best in his future retirement.
