Clydebank Minister, Reverend Gregor McIntyre, Runs for Refugee Support
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Reverend Gregor McIntyre, who is the Minister at Faifley Parish Church in Clydebank on his fundraising efforts, raising £1,752 for the British Red Cross by running 160 miles over the space of a month; understands that the money will go towards legal support, administration and any other costs to help refugees get to their destination safely; commends Gregor for his continued good work in the community, and wishes him the best with his latest challenge, which is to run the equivalent of the distance from John O’Groats to Land’s End, 874 miles, in the space of the year.
