Praise for Kirkintilloch Community Council
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the latest round of awards from the National Lottery Community Fund to organisations throughout Strathkelvin and Bearsden; understands that the Kirkintilloch Community Council received £6,200, which will assist the group in delivering further emergency food parcels and prescriptions to the most vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis; further understands that the council has, throughout the pandemic, provided vital and critical assistance to those most in need in the region; warmly welcomes these efforts and praises the collective effort and spirit that it shows to help the most vulnerable throughout Strathkelvin and Bearsden; further praises the group's commitment to Kirkintilloch and the surrounding area as it endeavours to improve the local community, and wishes everyone involved future success.
