The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the latest round of awards from the National Lottery Community Fund to organisations throughout Strathkelvin and Bearsden; understands that Rookie Rockstars received £10,000 from the fund, which the group will use, in part, to continue supporting the mental health of young people in crisis through free sessions, including counselling sessions for young people and over the phone support for parents; praises Rookie Rockstars for its continued work throughout Scotland, with mental health support, counselling, music-based therapy and community outreach available throughout the country for those in need; encourages all Members to engage with the organisation as Scotland navigates the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, and wishes the organisation all the best in its future work.
