Craigneuk Community Council is One of Scotland Loves Local’s High Street Heroes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Craigneuk Community Council on being listed as one of Scotland Loves Local's High Street Heroes for 2020; notes that Scotland’s High Street Heroes have been honoured for the remarkable ways in which they have helped their communities during the COVID-19 outbreak, and celebrates those who have helped local shops and high streets to be innovative, resilient and to operate in a safe and welcoming manner; understands that Craigneuk Community Council has been a vital support to countless people for many years, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has demonstrated a push for positive change for the area; commends the community council for its commitment to improving the lives of residents in Craigneuk, and wishes everyone involved all the best for the future.
