Vital Funding Secured for the TallShip Glenlee
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Clyde Maritime Trust on being awarded £89,124 from the Museums Galleries Scotland’s Recovery and Resilience Fund; understands that this fund aims to secure the future of Scottish independent museums that have been put at risk by the pandemic and protect the vital role that they play in communities; recognises that this award will support salary costs, overheads, equipment, critical repairs and maintenance, as well as a top-up of reserves, for the TallShip Glenlee; notes the importance of museums to local communities; commends the Clyde Maritime Trust for this achievement and its continued hard work within the community, and wishes everyone involved with this Glaswegian institute continued success.
