NHS Forth Valley Team's 10km Run Exceeds Target for Alloa Charity
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates a team of healthcare professionals from NHS Forth Valley who have exceeded a fundraising target to support an Alloa charity; believes that the staff from Forth Valley Royal Hospital's Mental Health Acute Assessment Team recently finished fundraising efforts for The Gate Charity, having completed a 10km run; understands that they originally set out to raise £500, however ended up raising almost £3,000, and commends all of the runners, including Dr Prakash Shankar, consultant liaison psychiatrist at NHS Forth Valley, for their fantastic team effort and extremely magnanimous work.
