Carers of West Lothian
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Carers of West Lothian on being awarded £5,106 in lottery funding to conduct research on the impact of COVID-19 on unpaid carers, particularly the impact of the virus on carers from BAME backgrounds, and to establish what type of support they would benefit from West Lothian communities; acknowledges the pressure on families who are at higher risk and coping alone, and commends the efforts of everyone at Carers of West Lothian for their additional support to families in need during a very challenging year.
