Perthshire Firm Supplies Foreign Office with 16-foot Christmas Tree
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the family-run Sholach Christmas Trees, which has supplied the Foreign Office in London with a 16-foot Christmas tree; notes that the firm, which is based near Blairgowrie, Perthshire, and run by the McIntyre family, had been invited to do so after winning the "best short film" category in an annual competition run by the British Christmas Tree Growers Association; understands that the Nordmann fir tree has been described by Foreign Office staff as a “great morale booster”, and wishes Sholach all the best for the future.
