Henry Manson Raises Charity Funds and Christmas Cheer
The motion
That the Parliament commends Henry Manson, who is from Orkney, for his efforts to bring festive cheer to people across the community while raising vital funds in the process for two important causes; understands that Henry, who works for Orklean Cleaning Services, has dressed up as Santa for his window cleaning rounds and has so far collected more than £350 in donations for Orkney Foodbank and Orkney Charitable Trust; thanks him for his work to support these charities in a year in which fundraising has been challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic; commends all who have generously donated; believes that Henry’s efforts are also helping to bring some laughter and Christmas cheer to everyone on the back of what has been a difficult time; thanks Henry for going the extra mile to raise everyone’s spirits, and wishes him a Merry Christmas and all the best for the remainder of his Christmas rounds.
