Our Lady’s High School Fundraising Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises pupils and staff at Our Lady’s High School in Motherwell in their mission to raise funds for St Andrew’s Hospice, SCIAF and St Margaret’s Adoption Society by hosting a fundraising day on 16 December 2020; understands that the fundraising day included a walk-a-thon, quiz, film viewings and stalls selling various goods from home baking and hot chocolate to face coverings, all performed while wearing Christmas jumpers; notes that the school has a long history of raising funds for various local and national organisations, and applauds the school community at Our Lady’s High School for its commitment to upholding school values of supporting the vulnerable locally, nationally and globally.
