Raising Awareness and Funds for Alzheimer Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament applauds the entrepreneurial spirit and fundraising activities of eight-year-old Heather Bryson, who is a pupil and junior house captain of Lenzie Meadow Primary School; recognises Heather’s input to Alzheimer Scotland’s plans for child-friendly training sessions; pays tribute to Heather’s mum, Deborah, in supporting and enabling Heather’s passion to have such an impact; is grateful to Morrisons in Bishopbriggs and Santander in Kirkintilloch for enabling the promotion and sale of Heather’s handmade birdfeeders, upcycled from china tea cups and saucers; congratulates Heather on raising £700 to date for Alzheimer Scotland through the sale of these china birdfeeders and Little Lockdown Angel products, and sends every best wish to Heather as she continues to spread happiness and awareness by encouraging others to be kind, be patient and be respectful.
