East Park School Awarded Advanced Autism Accreditation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates East Park School and Residential Care, based in the Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn constituency, on becoming the only child-focused establishment in Scotland to hold the Advanced Autism Accreditation; understands that East Park has committed to the National Autistic Society Autism Accreditation for almost 20 years; recognises that this award was given in identification of the charity's commitment to improving their high levels of autism practice; believes that East Park engages in a wide range of activities that contribute to the children having positive and successful experiences, helping them to achieve a sense of wellbeing and willingness to learn; commends the efforts of every staff member involved with providing specialised care to the young people at East Park, and wishes all involved every success in the years to come.
