West Lothian College Student Reaches the Finals of UK Young Risotto Chef Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the West Lothian College NC Level 6 Professional Cookery student, Mark Sneddon, on reaching the finals of the UK Riso Gallo Young Risotto Chef of the Year 2021 competition, which is aimed at students aged 18 to 23; notes that Mark is one of 12 finalists from colleges across the UK, and one of only two from a Scottish college; understands that, to secure a place in the finals, Mark won the regional finals in a virtual cook-off in November 2020, which was judged remotely by a panel of world-leading chefs, and wishes Mark success when he cooks his dish in front of the grand final judges.
