Golden Friendship Group Spread the Love this Valentine’s Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the hard work and dedication of the Golden Friendship Club, a Clydebank based charity, in helping to spread Valentine’s Day joy to the town's older and more isolated residents; understands that the charity teamed up with Strathmore Foods and Age Scotland to donate 1000 meals and greetings cards to older people, community groups and housing associations across Clydebank and the surrounding areas; acknowledges the good work of the group's volunteers and the wonderful job they have done to tackle social isolation throughout the pandemic by making sure no one is forgotten about, and wishes them every success for the future.
