Pupils' Climate Change Funding in Strathkelvin and Bearsden
The motion
That the Parliament understands that four schools and one early years centre in Strathkelvin and Bearsden were successful in securing a total in excess of £38,000 of funding through the Community Climate Asset Fund; congratulates the pupils and staff of Balmuildy Primary School in Bishopbriggs, Gartconner Primary School, Gartconner Early Years Centre and Holy Trinity Primary School in Kirkintilloch, and Mosshead Primary School in Bearsden; delights at their plans to establish well-equipped gardens for the growing of food and plants; applauds the teams of staff enabling the themes of minimising waste and reducing carbon emissions to be explored, and wishes all young people in the constituency continued success in their enthusiastic initiatives towards Scotland becoming a net zero society.
