Community Resilience, Buckie and Regency Car Sales
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the efforts of the Buckie business, Regency Car Sales, to assist its community during the COVID-19 pandemic; understands that the company has made 52 vehicles and drivers available to assist with getting people from the Buckie area to the Fiona Elcock Vaccination Centre in Elgin to be vaccinated; notes that this action was taken in order to help reduce the stress on those who are required to travel farther distances for their COVID-19 vaccine in Buckie and surrounding areas; considers that this is an important demonstration of community spirit, kindness and people’s willingness to help one another, and commends Regency Car Sales in Buckie and all the volunteers involved with this community action.
