Woodlands Glencoe Named FSB's UK Small Business of the Year
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Lochaber business, Woodlands Glencoe, for being named UK Small Business of the Year and receiving the UK Business and Product Innovation Award at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) annual Celebrating Small Businesses Awards on 27 May 2021; notes that the family-run firm is a luxury tourist destination, which has managed to grow exponentially in the last decade, with 22 employees and a revenue of £900,000; recognises the importance of a high-quality tourist offering to the local economy of the Highlands; commends the Young family on this well-earned recognition of their efforts, and wishes everyone at Woodlands Glencoe continued success, as the economy recovers from COVID-19.
