Scottish Seabird Centre 21st Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament notes the 21st anniversary of the Scottish Seabird Centre, in North Berwick, East Lothian in May of this year; echoes CEO Susan Davies’ comments that “the centre’s creation was made possible thanks to an inspiring community drive”; acknowledges the vital work that is done by the centre in conservation and education, supported by the award winning tourist experience, and applauds the work of the teams past and present at the centre for their work over 21 years to highlight Scotland’s marine wildlife, habitats and iconic seabirds.
