The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that, following a protracted period due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire, Johnny Stewart, was able to join a number of trustees at Gartmorn Dam Country Park to present the Chair, Linda McLeod BEM of Breathe Easy, Clackmannanshire with the long-awaited Queens’s Award for Voluntary Service, which was originally announced on 2 June 2020; acknowledges that the support group also took the opportunity to unveil its new picnic bench, which was purchased through a successful application to the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Environment Trust; understands that the bench, which is dedicated to Breathe Easy, Clackmannanshire, contains the inscription "Rest Easy with Breathe Easy - Q. A. V. S. 2020;" notes that the British Lung Foundation (BLF) Breathe Easy groups are UK-wide, and are run by member volunteers who support anyone affected by a lung condition, in addition to their families and carers; further understands that the groups  meet once a month and are a vital part of the BLF, and commends Linda, the group’s Trustees, members, volunteers and friends for all their tireless work and dedication for the benefit of the lung health of the entire local community across Clackmannanshire.
