Brake Charity's Kids Walk
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the event, Kids Walk, organised by the road safety charity, Brake, takes place on 16 June 2021; understands that the aim is to promote road safety and the health and environmental benefits of walking, while fundraising; applauds Brake for its continued support of families who have been impacted by road deaths or serious injury; understands that road deaths are the biggest killer of young people globally, and considers that Brake’s Kids Walk is a welcome way to champion the cause of road safety while fundraising for a much-needed support network and promoting healthy mobility for all.
