NFU Scotland’s Unsung Hero Award Presented to Gordon McKilligan

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gordon McKilligan of Cornhill, Banffshire, on being presented with the prestigious Unsung Hero Award by NFU Scotland’s North East members at Huntly Auction Mart on 30 July 2021; understands that the award is presented annually and recognises members for their achievements and hard work on behalf of fellow farmers; notes that the Auction Mart, which was attended by NFU members from across Scotland, raised £4,195 from the generous raffle and auction for the rural charity RSABI; commends Mr McKilligan’s longstanding dedication and commitment to Scottish farming, and wishes him, and all NFU Scotland members, continued success in the future.
