The Field of Hope in Fife
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Claire Pollock, of Ardross Farm in Fife, who has cut out the word "Hope" in a field, the size of four football pitches, full of sunflowers; understands that she did so at the behest of Church of Scotland Minister Douglas Creighton, after his congregation at East Neuk Trinity Church linked with St Monans said it wanted to celebrate the excellent community spirit shown by residents in the East Neuk of Fife during the COVID-19 lockdown, and notes that people can visit the Field of Hope, with entry costing £5 per person and £15 for a family ticket, with all the proceeds being donated to good causes.
