Blazing Saddles as Mark Cycles from Land’s End to John o’ Groats
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates cyclist Mark Vance on completing the 863 mile challenge from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in a remarkable four days and 21 hours; recognises that his epic journey involved climbing 46,000ft of hills along the way; notes that the cancer survivor from Newton Stewart in Dumfries and Galloway has previously raised £6,500 for charity, and wishes him every success in future two-wheel adventures, including taking part in the Trans-Atlantic Way Ultra Race in Ireland in June 2022, that involves cycling more than 100 miles.
