Stirling Community Lottery
The motion
That the Parliament notes the launch of the Stirling Community Lottery, which will see the funds raised go to good causes in the area; understands that Stirling Community Lottery was launched by Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise (SVE) on 30 September 2021 during a celebration, which included 40 organisations; further understands that good causes will be able to benefit individually and also through a central fund, which will be administered by SVE; recognises the benefit this will bring to community groups in the area, and acknowledges the difficulties organisations have had in creating fundraising opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
