Congratulations to the Rangers Charity Foundation

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Rangers Charity Foundation on its good work in the last year, as illustrated in its Annual Review 2020-21; recognises that the Foundation now delivers over 20 community programmes reaching over 5,500 people of all ages; commends its financial contribution to work with organisations such as the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Glasgow City Mission, Children 1st, UNICEF UK and a range of armed forces charities; applauds the employability programmes supported by the Foundation, which aim to help young people reach positive destinations, deliver SQA awards and secure employment; acknowledges the tailored educational programmes that have been delivered by inspiring community coaches to thousands of pupils across Glasgow; appreciates the continued support of the Foundation to the Govan Thriving Places Initiative, which it believes brings organisations together to benefit the people of Govan, and wishes the Rangers Charity Foundation continued success in its future endeavours.
