Young Clackmannanshire Gymnast, Ramsay Milloy

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates a young Clackmannanshire gymnast who will represent Scotland next month as the first from his centre to do so; understands that Ramsay Milloy, who trains at Stenhousemuir Gymnastics Club, has been selected to represent Scotland as part of the Level One Club Development Grades Team at the National Grades Finals in November; notes that the nine-year-old, who attends Fishcross Primary School, has been involved with gymnastics since the age of three and has huge ambitions for his career; further notes that Ramsay is the first gymnast from the Carron Gymnastics Centre to be chosen to represent Scotland and will travel down to the finals with his coach Stephen Wilson, who is also a gymnastics coach at Falkirk Community Trust; considers that, according to his grandfather, Ronnie Moffat, Ramsay wants to win the Scottish, the British, the European, the Commonwealth, the Olympics and then the World Championships, and applauds the youngster on his skill, tenacity and dedication, especially at such a young age.
