Prestwick’s J Brown Newsagents Wins Best Newsagent in Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Prestwick’s J Brown Newsagents for winning Best Newsagent in Scotland; notes that the 2020 grand final went ahead in October 2021, where J Brown Newsagents received the award; further notes that this was Scotland’s Business Awards' largest ever award ceremony; understands that J Brown Newsagent has received an overwhelming amount of support from the local community in Prestwick, which helped them to achieve this award; further understands that the newsagents work tirelessly to serve the people of Prestwick, especially by getting up for work at 3am, and wishes them well as they continue to deliver a range of services for the local community.
