Archie Highland Golf Day Raises £10,000

The motion

That the Parliament commends Archie Highland for raising £10,000 from a golfing event at Nairn Golf Club; acknowledges the important work that Archie Highland does in assisting families with sick or injured children around the Highlands and Moray area through a support centre, outreach clinics and the provision of equipment; notes that the money raised will fund an emergency grant support scheme that helps get families to and from Raigmore Hospital in Inverness; applauds the Munro and Noble solicitors and estate agents team for winning the charity golf competition, and welcomes the 140 people who participated in this vital fundraising event.
