Premier Linktown Local, Kirkcaldy, Community Retailer of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament notes the achievement of Faraz Iqbal and Premier Linktown Local, Kirkcaldy, at the Scottish Local Retailer awards, which recognise the efforts of community retailers and highlight best practice, creativity, innovation and commitment; recognises the store's success in being named Community Retailer of the Year and Highly Commended Off-Trade Retailer at these prestigious awards; commends Faraz on his personal success on being recognised as one of the young innovators shaping the future of independent convenience retail and a winner of the Retail News project, 30 Under Thirty, which shines a light on the rising stars working in independent retail; commends the continued hard work of Faraz and the Linktown Local team, and wishes them all the best for the future.
