Pat Wilson Farms Lochrosque Wins a Helping it Happen Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Pat Wilson Farms Lochrosque for winning the Enhancing our Environment through Land Management Award, sponsored by NatureScot, at the national Helping it Happen Awards, which is organised by Scottish Land and Estates; commends the work that it has carried out through land management diversity in Wester Ross by restoration of peatlands to cap sheep densities and reduce deer numbers, to help alleviate climate change and eliminate the threat of biodiversity loss; notes that the business also won a Helping it Happen Award in 2019 for creating green energy sources, and wishes it success in its goals to help face the climate emergency.
