Book Week Scotland 2021

The motion

That the Parliament notes that Book Week Scotland 2021 will take place from 15 to 21 November 2021; understands that Book Week Scotland is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across the country; recognises that this is the 10th year in which Book Week Scotland will take place, with this year’s theme being Celebration; understands that this year’s events will take place in a hybrid format, with a mix of physical and digital events being offered; further understands that in Aberdeen there will be a range of events and activities for all age groups, encouraging people of all ages to read; commends everyone who is working with Aberdeen City Libraries to ensure that some events can take place in person this year, and looks forward to a successful Book Week Scotland 2021.
