Scotland Achieves Historic Men's and Women’s Double with Golds at European Curling Championship
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Scotland men's and women’s curling teams as they won an historic Scottish double at the European Curling Championships in Lillehammer, Norway, on 27 November; further congratulates Eve Muirhead, Captain of the women’s squad, on claiming her third European title, and Bruce Mouat, Captain of the men’s squad; recognises this is an historic moment in Scottish sporting history, and acknowledges the role played by Scottish Curling, the national governing body for curling in Scotland, in supporting these athletes.
