Morrisons Alloa Raises Over £2,500 for Poppyscotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates an Alloa supermarket, which has raised over £2,500 for poppyscotland; understands that Morrisons in Alloa held a poppy appeal in the run-up to Remembrance Sunday, with veterans and their families along with Morrisons Community Champion, Jayne Lindfield; notes that the veterans and volunteers raised £1,814.90, while the store collected £716.26 to make a total of £2,531.16, and commends everyone involved, not least the customers for their generosity, in helping to make the appeal such a success.
