175 Years of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland on its 175 years anniversary publication, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland: Raising the Curtain, which celebrates its history spanning from the 19th century Glasgow Athenaeum to the present day international centre of excellence, which was ranked third in the world for performing arts education in the QS World Rankings 2021, and believes that this proudly reflects the Royal Conservatoire's home city of Glasgow, which it considers as a cultural powerhouse of music, creative arts and theatre, promoting the belief that the arts are for everyone.
