Tom Bennett OBE

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Tom Bennett, director and founder of ResearchED, and behaviour adviser for the Department for Education, on being appointed an OBE for services to education in the 2022 Queen’s New Year’s Honours; notes that ResearchED is a teacher-led organisation established in 2013 by Tom, which aims to make teachers "research literate and pseudo-science proof"; notes that the organisation holds regular teacher conferences throughout the UK and internationally, and commends Tom, who is from Dollar, on his award, as well as for his sterling work for the benefit of education.
