Congratulations to Bearsden Academy on Recent Community Litter Pick

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Bearsden Academy in East Dunbartonshire on co-ordinating a community litter pick involving Bearsden Festival, Bearsden in Bloom and local primary schools; notes that over 50 volunteers filled 30 black bags of rubbish; acknowledges the exemplary attitude of all the pupils and volunteers involved, and commends them for being such active, caring citizens who are helping to keep the local environment clean, and tackling the discarded rubbish that affects everyone.
