Brew Monday
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Samaritans hosted its annual Brew Monday on 17 January 2022; understands that the third Monday of January is often referred to as the most difficult day of the year, but that the Samaritans aims to change that reputation and accept that people have good and bad days; further understands that the Samaritans encourages everyone to start a conversation over a virtual cuppa; welcomes the sentiment that simple actions, such as making time to connect with friends and family can help support mental health, and commends the Samaritans ongoing work to support mental health.
