Knoxland Primary Pupils Host Burns Night Celebration

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the children of Knoxland Primary School in Dumbarton, who Dressed to Impress as they took part in a special Burns Night celebration; understands that the pupils enjoyed activities and listened to parents, grandparents and guardians recite Scottish poems and songs; further understands that the pupils listened to a poem written by a pupil who attended the school in 1967; acknowledges what it sees as the importance of the traditions and culture of Scotland being kept alive through young pupils, and hopes that the poetry of Rabbie Burns is remembered for many generations to come.
