The Gaff's Fundraising Efforts for Brain Tumour Research

The motion

That the Parliament commends Ellon pizzeria, The Gaff, on its fundraising efforts to find a cure for brain tumours; understands that The Gaff will sell a chipotle chilli beef pizza in memory of Ritchie Lawson, a loyal customer and friend, who sadly passed away from an incurable brain tumour in Autumn 2021; recognises that proceeds from the sale of this pizza, which was Ritchie’s favourite, will go to Brain Tumour Research; understands that brain tumours are responsible for more deaths in the under-40 age group than any other type of cancer, yet receives just 1% of the national spend on cancer research; wishes Brain Tumour Research well with its future work, and sends sincere condolences to the family of Ritchie Lawson.
