Bearsden Fish and Chip Shop Marks 40th Anniversary with Free Takeaways in Aid of Cancer Research

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Romy’s and Family fish and chip shop in Bearsden on celebrating its 40th year in business; commends the charitable donations given by this business to the Beatson Cancer Centre, which is a much loved and vital local charity; notes that Romy’s and Family gave away free meals on 3 February 2022 in exchange for donations to the charity, and acknowledges the service provided by Romy’s and Family, which has served several generations of local residents during the last four decades.
