Scotland National Rugby Team's Dramatic Victory Over England in the Calcutta Cup

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Scotland national rugby union team on its 20-17 victory over England; notes that, with this victory, Scotland secured successive Calcutta Cup wins for the first time since 1984; commends manager, Gregor Townsend, for his contribution to the team’s success; notes that, with this victory, Scotland have won the Calcutta Cup in three of the last five years, and hopes that this success will encourage and inspire a new generation of Scottish rugby players.
