Kelso in Top 10 Most Welcoming Towns in the UK

The motion

That the Parliament recognises that the town of Kelso has been listed in the top 10 Most Welcoming Towns in the UK; understands that the list was based on booking.com’s user reviews of experiences with hospitality; further understands that the report was compiled by looking at reviews for more than 53,000 travel providers in the UK, and was based on the proportion of properties receiving one of its Traveller Review Awards in 2022, and commends Kelso, its local community groups, businesses and residents on achieving this award, and for making the town an attractive and welcoming tourist destination.
