The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges what it sees as the importance of the Stirling Bull Sales to the Scottish agricultural sector; understands that the Stirling Bull Sales began as the Perth Bull Sales in 1865 before being renamed 10 years ago following the relocation of the sales to Stirling in 2009; further understands that the sales attract thousands of visitors from Scotland and abroad to the United Auctions headquarters at the Stirling Agricultural Centre; notes that the main pedigree breeds on sale are Aberdeen-Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Charolais, Simmental, Limousin, British Blue, British Blonde, Salers and Highland; further notes that the Stirling Bull Sales take place three times annually and have become, it understands, an integral part of the farming calendar, and wishes United Auctions and all involved in the Stirling Bull Sales a successful sale.
