St John Perth and Kinross Donates Defibrillator to Perth Street Pastors

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the news that a lifesaving defibrillator has been donated to the Perth Street Pastors to carry as they patrol the city centre, to be on hand to help anyone who may need emergency CPR; understands that the donation came from St John Perth and Kinross as part of efforts to roll out defibrillators across the area; notes that the Perth Street Pastors go out on the streets of Perth city centre on Fridays and Saturdays to offer support to anyone who may need it; notes that they have also contacted community wardens, police and pub owners to inform them of this new defibrillator; is enthused that local businesses and organisations can contact the Perth Street Pastors should the need for urgent medical help arise; commends St John Perth and Kinross on its project to install public access defibrillators across Perth and Kinross, and wishes everyone involved all the very best in their sterling endeavours.
